leave something for the rest of us to build!
getting things done
The whole GTD revolution seems to be the latest fad these days, though for me it is welcome. You see i have probably the worst memory going. I recently moved away from being a full time employee at a mid sized web development shop to becoming a full time contractor. Don't get me wrong, I love the move that I have made but I quickly realized that working for a company allowed me to get by without addressing one of my major shortcomings… organizing and getting things done.
So, I went out and bough David Allens Getting Things Done book and installed his outlook plugin (trial version to see if i actually use it). I'm starting to get in the groove of the process but it is definately a huge change in my day to day routine… but hopefully a good change.
i don’t really like tv that much
but man do I ever love lost. It's probably the only tv show that i will actually sit down and watch. It holds a grip on me that a tv show hasn't done in years. It's amazing the amount of online communities and message boards that have cropped up around this topic, and the theories and conjecture are almost as fun as the show!
everyone should use netvibes.com
and by everyone i mean you.
Netvibes is part of my daily routine now.
